Time Flies When You're Having a BLAST!!
WOW! I can't believe the second week of school is coming to a close already! I've been busy learning everyone's name and getting things going in all of our music classes! This week some of us have sang, played boomwhackers, choir chimes, and played some fun music games. The band is working hard on Football Band music, and our middle schoolers are anxious to get their guitars next week! Have a great weekend! Add a little music to whatever you're doing!!

WHEW!
Another week is in the books! Whew! Trying to get all the things on my summer to-do list done when I'm starting school two weeks earlier than planned has been a challenge! I got to spend time with my best friend this week and my precious baby nephew. I'm excited for my daughter Marlena to return from her summer travels this Tuesday! Part of my family is headed to Ormond Beach for a long weekend with my dad and step-mom. I can't wait! After that, I will be trying to get my house in order and planning for a great year! Hope everyone is headed to worship tomorrow.
Blessings!!

What a terrific weekend!
We hosted nine wonderful young ladies from the Bethel Baptist youth group from Graceville, Florida this weekend! We enjoyed fellowshipping with the girls and one of their leaders, Deanna throughout the weekend. The youth group helped several of us from FBCU with a service project Saturday morning and we were able to worship with them at church this morning. Our house will sure be quiet when they leave for youth camp at Lake Yale tomorrow morning!
Speaking of church, I'm so excited to welcome Andy Johnston to FBCU as our new music minister! Singing on the praise team is one of my favorite things to do and Pastor Andy is going to do a fantastic job leading us!
On the agenda this week...decorating the music room and working on lesson plans!!! Praying about all the great ideas God is laying on my heart!
